Purpose:

Contents of the record series include agency name and address, social security number, name of traveler, date, headquarters address, place and time of departure, place and time of arrival, lodging expenses, per diem expenses, miscellaneous payments, license plate number, total amounts, travel purpose and comments, and appropriate signatures.  The original documents are located in the Accounting Department as the Transportation Office maintains the duplicate series.
 

Procedure:

Retain in office for three (3) years, then dispose of provided all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
