Purpose:

This record series consists of receipts issued by various departments of the University for any money collected by them.  All blank receipt forms are issued by the Bursar's Office to the departments.  The departments then return a copy of the receipt to the Bursar's Office.  Thus the office maintains the only complete, consecutive collection of all of the receipts issued.
 

Procedure:

Retain in office for two (2) years, then dispose of provided all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
