Purpose:

This record series consists of files documenting students who have or are participating in assistantship programs of the department.  The documents function as a data source for salary projections and curricular development. Data in the record series include application forms, letters of acceptance, supporting correspondence, name of student, social security number, appointment dates, and salary sheets.  The originals are maintained by the Graduate School.
 

Procedure:

Retain in office for five (5) years following date of graduation or last attendance, then dispose of provided all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
