Purpose:

The records contain documents generated from the awarding of grants to faculty members including:  initial grant proposals, grant acceptance forms, and related correspondence.  Original grant files are maintained by the Office of Sponsored Projects.
 

Procedure:

Retain in office for five (5) years after the completion of the grant, then dispose of provided all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
