Purpose:

This record series consists of financial documents which detail the fiscal accounting operations of the English Department.  The files serve as a means to line item budgeting. Contents in the record series include budgetary reports, transfer vouchers, purchase orders, receipts, travel requests, ledger sheets, and correspondence.  The originals are maintained in the Accounting Department.
 

Procedure:

Retain in office for three (3) years, then dispose of providing all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
