Purpose:

This record series consists of records of job searches and related unsuccessful job applicant files.  Included are affirmative action forms, letters of response, copies of advertisements for the vacancy, applications and resumes from unsuccessful applicants, final reports by the Dean's Search Committee, and related correspondence.
 

Procedure:

Retain in office for five (5) years following termination of the position vacancy, then dispose of providing all audits have been completed under the supervision of the Auditor General, if necessary, and no litigation is pending or anticipated.
