Purpose:

This record series consists of the history files maintained by the Office of the Center for Black Studies.  The files contain various records relevant to the development of the program including:  course proposals, curriculum development materials, and related correspondence/memoranda.
 

Procedure:

Retain in the office for three (3) years then, with the assistance of University Archives' staff, review files and dispose of all materials no longer possessing any value and transfer remaining accumulation to the University Archives for permanent retention.
