Organizations and Committees Administration Files

Purpose:

This record series consists of files utilized in the administration of duties of the Center's various organizations and committees (i.e. the Black Studies Curriculum and Advisory Committee, the Black Heritage Planning Committee, the Black Student Union, the Organization for Black Business Students, and the African Student Association). Included in these files are lists, showing names and addresses of members and contributors, copies of advertisements, published brochures, and related correspondence.
 

Procedure:

Retain five (5) years in the office, then offer to the University Archives for evaluation and potential accessioning of records possessing archival value.  If such offer is refused by the University Archives, then dispose of.
