Purpose:

This file is used for documentation of donations to 250 unrestricted accounts, restricted accounts, and endowments administered by the Office for the NIU Foundation.  The file is principally composed of donation acknowledgement letters, copies of receipts from donations and scholarship check request forms.
 

Procedure:

Retain in office for six (6) years, or until expiration of administrative value, whichever is longer, then transfer to the University Archives for permanent retention.
